Born in Beauharnois in 1953, summers spent by the lake certainly awakened her fascination and deep love for nature.
In spite of a career in chemistry, Marie-Claude finds the time to dedicate to her other passions: painting, photography, horticulture, and hiking. She begins to paint seriously by 1978 and participates in several solo and group exhibitions in her region.
She participates in 2000 in the Big Competition of the “Cercle des Artistes Peintres et Sculpteurs du Québec”, where she wins an award in the category ” Representational Reality “. Follow two solo and several collective exhibitions and Symposia. Then in 2006 and 2007, she wins First and Second prizes during Art Contests in Mascouche, Valleyfield, and La Prairie.
